Description SUS304 is the most widely used grade of austenitic stainless steel and is recognized globally for its excellent balance of corrosion resistance, formability, and mechanical properties. Due to its widespread availability and versatility, it is used in a broad range of industrial, automotive, medical, and electronic applications.

Although SUS304 does not achieve the same strength levels as SUS301, its strength can be increased through cold rolling, making it suitable for certain spring and elastic component applications.

Annealed and lightly cold-worked tempers offer high elongation and excellent formability, allowing the material to withstand complex stamping, drawing, and forming operations.

Main Features:
  1. Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Provides reliable performance in a wide variety of environments and is one of the most commonly specified stainless steel grades worldwide.
  2. Outstanding Formability
Suitable for deep drawing, bending, stamping, and complex forming processes.
  3. Available in Multiple Tempers
Offered in soft annealed conditions (BA, 2B) and work-hardened tempers (1/2H, 3/4H, H) to meet diverse application requirements.
  4. Good Strength-to-Corrosion Balance
Can be strengthened through cold rolling while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance and workability.
  5. Wide Range of Applications
Commonly used in electronics, medical devices, automotive components, industrial equipment, consumer products, and precision parts.
We supply a variety of SUS304 stainless steel materials for spring and precision applications in accordance with the requirements of JIS G4313 and related international standards.
