| Description | TOKKIN 305M is a highly stable austenitic stainless steel developed from SUS305. Based on the SUS304 (18Cr-8Ni) composition, this grade contains increased levels of nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn), and chromium (Cr), which stabilize the austenitic structure and significantly reduce the tendency for magnetization after cold rolling and forming operations. TOKKIN 305M is specially engineered with alloy contents adjusted toward the upper end of the JIS SUS305 specification range, resulting in greater austenite stability than conventional SUS305 materials. The higher nickel content also contributes to excellent formability, corrosion resistance, and processing performance, making it ideal for precision electronic and medical applications where magnetic influence must be minimized.
