| Description | FS-1 is a proprietary ferritic stainless steel developed from the widely used SUS430 grade. By incorporating a small amount of nickel, FS-1 achieves an improved balance of formability, strength, and corrosion resistance while maintaining the economic advantages associated with ferritic stainless steels. Although ferritic stainless steels are generally lower in cost than austenitic grades, they often have limitations in formability and strength. FS-1 addresses these challenges by offering enhanced processing characteristics and mechanical performance, making it a practical alternative to SUS304 for many general environmental applications. With only approximately 1% nickel content, FS-1 is minimally affected by fluctuations in global nickel prices, enabling more stable material costs and procurement planning. Main Features:
