| Description | Permalloy C (PC) is a nickel–iron alloy containing approximately 78% nickel with additions of molybdenum and copper. It is also known as 78% Permalloy and is widely used for applications requiring extremely high soft magnetic performance. Compared with Permalloy B, it provides superior magnetic properties, but its cost is higher due to the increased nickel content and alloying elements. This material is typically used in high-precision magnetic shielding, transformer cores, and sensitive electronic components where maximum magnetic permeability is required. |
