Description TE-2 is a proprietary alloy tool steel developed by TOKKIN as an enhanced version of SKS81. By optimizing the chemical composition and strictly controlling the manufacturing process, TE-2 achieves improved hardenability, finer carbide distribution, superior sharpness, and enhanced wear resistance compared to conventional SKS81 materials.

The refined microstructure enables the material to maintain a sharper cutting edge for longer periods, making it particularly suitable for precision cutting applications where blade performance and durability are critical.

TE-2 is widely used in the production of premium cutting tools, razor blades, replacement blades, long industrial blades, and other high-grade blade applications requiring excellent edge retention and wear resistance.
