Description nanoSUS™ is a stainless steel featuring ultrafine-grained (UFG) microstructures with average grain sizes smaller than 1 μm. Compared with conventional materials, improvements can be achieved in strength, fatigue performance, and workability through advanced microstructure control.

nanoSUS™ 304 is manufactured using SUS304 raw material. The 2B finish of nanoSUS 304 provides:
  • Higher hardness than ordinary SUS304 2B finish
  • Higher yield strength than conventional SUS304
  • Formability comparable to standard SUS304
  • Improved strength while maintaining excellent workability
