TITANIUM Grade1 - UNS R50250 Description :

Standard  UNS R50250 ASTM B265, ASTM F67 AMS 4940 JIS TP270 (Sheet) / TR270 (Strip) - H4600

TITANIUM Grade 1 is a commercially pure titanium with very high purity, excellent corrosion resistance, and outstanding formability. It is the softest and most ductile grade among commercially pure titanium grades, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring extensive forming and deep drawing operations.

By carefully controlling the grain size during manufacturing, TITANIUM Grade 1 can achieve superior elongation characteristics, enabling excellent deep-drawing performance while maintaining good strength and toughness.

The material offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, low density, and excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including seawater, oxidizing acids, and chloride-containing media.

Typical applications include deep-drawn components, chemical processing equipment, medical devices, aerospace components, heat exchangers, and corrosion-resistant industrial parts.

Superior Corrosion Resistance

TITANIUM Grade 1 is especially revered for its exceptional resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for demanding environments such as chemical processing plants and marine applications. Its protective oxide layer ensures longevity and reliability, even in aggressive conditions.

Precision Manufacturing and Export Quality

As an exporter, manufacturer, and supplier based in Japan, our production process adheres to stringent quality standards. The titanium sheets and coils are meticulously processed, whether annealed, skin passed, or as rolled, to meet diverse industry requirements and maintain consistent results.

FAQ's of TITANIUM Grade1 - UNS R50250 | Titanium Alloy:

Q: How is TITANIUM Grade 1 (UNS R50250) typically processed for industrial use?

A: TITANIUM Grade 1 can be supplied annealed, skin passed, or as rolled (hard), depending on application needs. These processing methods enhance its mechanical properties, making the alloy easy to form and fabricate for a range of industrial uses.

Q: What are the main benefits of using TITANIUM Grade 1 in manufacturing?

A: The primary advantages include outstanding corrosion resistance, high ductility, and a commendable strength-to-weight ratio. These traits make it a preferred material in industries like aerospace, marine, and chemical processing where performance and durability are crucial.

Q: When should you choose TITANIUM Grade 1 over other titanium alloys?

A: TITANIUM Grade 1 should be selected when maximum formability and corrosion resistance are prioritized over higher strength applications. Its low iron and oxygen content offer increased ductility, making it ideal for deep drawing or forming operations.

Q: Where can TITANIUM Grade 1 sheets and coils be effectively utilized?

A: This alloy is widely used in heat exchangers, pressure vessels, desalination plants, and marine hardware, owing to its ability to withstand harsh environments without degradation.

Q: What finishing options are offered for TITANIUM Grade 1 products?

A: The material is available with either a bright or dull surface finish, providing versatility for specific visual or functional requirements in diverse applications.

Q: How do customers obtain details on the chemical composition of these titanium products?

A: Detailed chemical composition specifications can be referenced from the product image or provided upon request to ensure compliance with application standards.
