| Description | TDS-1 is a proprietary high-performance ferritic stainless steel designed to provide an exceptional combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and soft magnetic properties. The material is specifically engineered for electromagnetic applications requiring efficient magnetic response, magnetic shielding capability, and long-term durability. TDS-1 exhibits both high magnetic flux density and low coercive force, enabling rapid magnetization and demagnetization while delivering excellent magnetic shielding performance. Through magnetic annealing, the material can function as an electromagnetic stainless steel suitable for a wide variety of electronic and industrial applications. Compared with conventional ferritic stainless steels such as SUS430, TDS-1 offers enhanced corrosion resistance while maintaining strong mechanical properties and magnetic performance. One of the most significant advantages of TDS-1 is its ability to replace expensive specialty materials such as 42 Alloy (42Ni), phosphor bronze, SUY, and Permalloy in many applications. While offering electrical conductivity similar to 42 Alloy, TDS-1 has a coefficient of thermal expansion approximately half that of 42Ni and can reduce material costs by up to 50%. Main Features:
Its combination of soft magnetic characteristics, conductivity, corrosion resistance, and replacement potential for high-cost specialty alloys makes TDS-1 an attractive solution for advanced electronic and electromagnetic applications. |
