| Description | TITANIUM Grade 4 is a commercially pure titanium with the highest strength among the commercially pure titanium grades. It combines excellent corrosion resistance with superior mechanical properties, making it suitable for demanding applications where higher strength is required without sacrificing the benefits of pure titanium. Compared to Grades 1 and 2, TITANIUM Grade 4 offers significantly greater tensile and yield strength while maintaining good ductility and formability. It also retains the outstanding corrosion resistance characteristic of commercially pure titanium. The material exhibits excellent resistance to seawater, chloride environments, and many industrial chemicals, while its low density provides a high strength-to-weight ratio. TITANIUM Grade 4 is widely used in aerospace components, medical and dental devices, chemical processing equipment, marine applications, heat exchangers, and other structural parts requiring high strength, lightweight characteristics, and exceptional corrosion resistance. |
