Ferritic / Soft Magnetic Stainless Steels

Ferritic stainless steels : Basic form of stainless steel that contains 10.5% or more Cr and has a ferrite structure at room temperature. Compared with austenitic stainless steel, corrosion resistance is lower.

Soft Magnetic Stainless Steel: Soft magnetic materials are materials that become magnetized when exposed to an external magnetic field, but return to their original (non-magnetized) state once the field is removed. They are characterized by high magnetic permeability (  myoo ) and low coercivity (Hc).
