Description Alloy 282 is a nickel-based superalloy equivalent to HAYNES® 282, developed to provide an outstanding combination of weldability, fabricability, and high-temperature strength.

The alloy exhibits exceptional creep resistance, thermal stability, and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, offering heat resistance characteristics that surpass many conventional high-temperature alloys.

Due to its excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures, Alloy 282 is widely used in aerospace and automotive applications, particularly in components exposed to severe thermal and mechanical stresses.

Typical applications include bellows, diaphragms, combustors, gas turbines, seals, heat-resistant springs, turbochargers, and other high-temperature engine components.

We can supply HAYNES® 282 or equivalent materials according to customer requirements.
