Alloy 718 (Inconel 718 Equiv.) - UNS N07718 Description :

Standard  "UNS N07718  ASTM B637  AMS 5596 & AMS 5587 (Strip, Sheet, Foil)  JIS NCF718 - G4901 (Bar), G4902 (Strip, Sheet)  ISO NW7718, NiCr19Fe19Nb5Mo3  GB NW7718, NiCr19Fe19Nb5Mo3"

Alloy 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy equivalent to Inconel 718. It offers excellent workability in the solution-treated condition and develops outstanding strength, corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance after age-hardening heat treatment.

The alloy combines high tensile strength, creep resistance, and oxidation resistance with excellent weldability, making it one of the most widely used nickel-based superalloys for demanding high-temperature applications.

Alloy 718 maintains excellent mechanical properties across an exceptionally broad temperature range, from cryogenic conditions up to approximately 982C.

Typical applications include turbochargers, gas turbine components, aerospace engine parts, motors, exhaust systems, and other high-performance components subjected to extreme temperatures and mechanical stresses.

We can supply Inconel 718 or equivalent materials according to customer requirements.

Superior Performance in Extreme Environments

Alloy 718 stands out for its exceptional tolerance to high temperatures and harsh environments. Its nickel-based chemistry ensures durability and reliability, making it a preferred choice for critical components in aerospace, automotive, and power generation industries. Whether as a sheet, coil, or wire, this alloy delivers consistent quality and performance.

Versatile Applications and Customization

With options for annealed, skin passed, or as-rolled tempers and adaptable thickness and width ranges, Alloy 718 can be precision-tailored for specialized applications like turbochargers. This versatility, combined with different surface finishes, allows engineers and manufacturers to select the optimal configuration for both functional and aesthetic requirements.
