HC-22 (HASTELLOY® C22 Equiv.) - UNS N06022 Description :
HC-22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum (Ni-Cr-Mo) alloy equivalent to HASTELLOY® C22 and is recognized for its outstanding overall corrosion resistance among Ni-Cr-Mo alloys.
The alloy exhibits exceptional resistance to both reducing and oxidizing corrosive environments, making it particularly suitable for applications where equipment is exposed to alternating reduction and oxidation conditions.
Its superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking makes HC-22 an excellent choice for harsh chemical processing environments and emission control systems such as fuel gas desulfurization equipment.
